It's beautiful. It's historic. It's just special to even walk around in it. Valet staff was all wonderful and super friendly. Towels were always available by the pool. Room was very clean.

Why was there not an alert to let us know that the property had a lot of construction around it and it was impossible to get to the main entrance had to go around three times to find rear entrance with no sign

Location was great along with the staff and the beauty of the hotel … but.. since we stayed in the older part of the hotel the air conditioning in the room wasn’t the best. 74/75 and humid. Wasn’t terrible but wish it could have been cooler. Definitely would stay again but possibly in a newer addition

Very clean, comfortable room, but the outside demo work was a bit noisy. But not enough to be disturbing. We slept like little babes. The hotel is beautiful, and a historical treasure, closely located to the River Walk and the Alamo. We'll stay again next visit to St. Tony

Our original room was a tad noisy and the staff promptly moved us. The original victorian details of the Menger are gorgeous. Additionally the location was perfection.

The Menger is a beautiful hotel situated right in the centre of San Antonio, next to the Alamo. It is a historic building with period features but with modern comforts - very different to the modern hotels used on the rest of our trip. Comfortable bed and nice furnishings in the room. Good valet staff, busy at check out time but well managed. Lovely pool with complimentary towels.

I loved the hotel's decor. There is plenty of seating throughout the first floor. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic for visiting the Riverwalk, was museum or The Alamo.

I wish I had gone to the breakfast but I didn’t. I loved the pool and just the old beautiful 1800s nature of the property. Location can’t be beat!!
